Jo Smith and Kate Ridyard are the creative force behind No.11 Supper Club. Both were former staff of Petersham Nurseries, where Jo worked alongside Skye Gyngell in the kitchen.
No.11 Supper Club pops up monthly in Richmond, offering seasonal, simple yet creative menus at affordable prices using well sourced ingredients from trusted suppliers. Now into their fifth year hosting supper clubs and private events they have recently welcomed respected guest chefs to join them in the No.11 kitchen. Supper Clubbers enjoy social and convivial evenings seated at communal tables in a cosy and intimate setting. The evenings are typically sold out.
"The provenance of our ingredients is absolutely at the heart of everything we do at No.11. We deal directly with our respected growers, farmers and fishermen who share our passion for simple seasonal ingredients. No.11 don’t do food that has been meddled with. We cannot emphasise enough the benefits of foods that are pesticide free, not genetically modified and produced in a way that minimises the impact on our environment."

The epitome of the craft, love local and seasonal food trend! Jo and Kate have lovingly crafted one of the most novel, aesthetically exquisite and belly pleasing supper club concepts of all time. Great atmosphere in their beautiful home, with achingly moorish food....if you haven't tried it yet, give it a go you won't be disappointed!! / Hayley
Just love everything about this one of a kind supper club. Extraordinary food and Kate and Paul are wonderful hosts. A lovely way to meet local people. / Helen

Yet another triumph! Have had calls today from all the guests I brought with me on Saturday night saying what a great time they'd had and generally what a fab overall experience it had been. / Tricia
Thank you for the wonderful curry night experience! I really enjoyed myself and every delicious mouthful. No.11 Supper Club is such a great idea and the atmosphere in your packed kitchen said it all! / Mandy
WE ARE VERY LUCKY AND PROUD TO BE ABLE TO SOURCE ALL THE INGREDIENTS FOR OUR MENUS FROM A SMALL GROUP OF EXCELLENT LOCAL PRODUCERS.
Antonio supplies our organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, produced in the traditional granite crushing method, from Santeramo in Colle, Bari. Jo met Antonio at Barnes Farmers’ Market. He also has a shop in Ealing selling artisan, natural and mostly organic wholefoods from Puglia, Basilicata and Southern Italy.

WILD COUNTRY ORGANICS.
Another excellent producer we met at Barnes Farmers market.
Wild Country Organics is a modern organic family farm run by Dr Adrian Izzard, who over the last ten years has developed the growing techniques to produce a wide range of the best tasting organic vegetables and salads.

PERRY COURT FARM.
Jo has become a regular at the Perry Court Farm stall at Barnes Farmers’ Market. Apart from a wonderful array of fresh produce, Perry Court do a terrific apple crisp which Lottie [Jo’s daughter] simply adores. Although not certified organic Heidi and Martin who own and run the farm in Kent tell us that the biodynamic traditions are at the forefront of their farming methods. It is the farm’s policy not to supply the supermarkets, as they believe (as do we) that they have been hugely damaging to British agriculture and particularly to smaller specialist businesses.

A very big thanks to Gilcombe farm for our Christmas Feast Fillet of beef.
Gilcombe Farm is a 300 acre family run organic farm in the heart of Somerset. Thankfully they drive to London twice a week and we can pick up goodies at either Barnes or Hammermsmith Farmers’ Markets. Their organic produce is predominantly from their farm and the free range produce comes from a hand picked selection of non-organic farms in the area, where we can be assured that the farmers have a similar ethos regarding welfare and quality as ourselves.
The company was founded by Ben Woodcraft in 1995. Ben was an inshore fisherman, with twenty years experience & located on the Essex coast. He began by selling his own catch to London’s top restaurants and has now expanded to source from other local fishermen. What excitement when No.11 took delivery of live crabs for the Christmas Feast!

ELEPHANT FAMILY ‘IN GIANT’S FOOTSTEPS’ EVENT. MAY 2014
NO.11 had the privilege of being invited to help create a catered themed event at a tribute evening to the late Mark Shand – the inspirational founder of the Elephant Family charity.
NO.11 served Indian Canapés to over 650 guests at Victoria House in Bloomsbury Square on a beautiful evening in May. The menu was designed to complement Mark’s passion for India and his achievements were celebrated in style.
Marika Chaplais Fundraising Events Manager at Elephant Family said of No.11 after the event;
“From the first idea of a small event for 200 people, you rolled with us – every step of the way and created the most incredible food for the most important event in Elephant Family’s history.
The food was stunning. We have had more compliments about the canapés than we can count – everybody loved them. Mark only expected the very best for his friends – and gosh, did they have the very best on Thursday. Mark would have loved it and been very proud. Thank you”.
